Lauded for her ability to orchestrate top-notch educational programs that comprise impeccable blending of people and resources, Tia’s conference planning career began in 2000 with a writers’ association meeting she has since directed into the most acclaimed conference in the U.S. for Black creative and professional writers and literary entrepreneurs (Black Writers Reunion & Conference). As a planning consultant, moderator and speaker, Tia has been involved with more than two dozen conferences, including the Detroit Writers Conference, Brother 2 Brother Literary Symposium, Hip-Hop Journalism Conference, Words & Life Christian Conference, Gulf Coast Writers Retreat, STC Region 5 Conference, and Houston Writers Conference, assisting with program development, venue selection, contract negotiation, website strategy, and volunteer coordination.

While planning and orchestrating stellar events is considered by many to be her forté, it is her exceptional skill as a writer, editor, web programmer, information designer and content strategist that makes her the hotshot that she is. For more than 20 years Tia has been mastering her crafts, producing content-rich websites and polished documentation, presentations and manuscripts for authors, attorneys, entrepreneurs, consultants, businesses and government agencies. Turner Legal Association, among others.
