Tia Ross, Editor/WordWiser Ink
Whether I’m saving business owners, entrepreneurs, coaches, and thought leaders from costly mistakes that can ruin their credibility and impact or polishing fiction and nonfiction manuscripts of 1.5K to 150K words for anxious authors, this privilege is one I wouldn’t trade for the world. My team of professional grammarians and I specialize in perfecting content and copy, becoming cherished heroes to the many clients we rescue from the embarrassment of publishing error-ridden materials.
At the tender age of sixteen, I began editing for the U.S. government. Nine years later I started my first freelance editing services business by night while managing and editing legal documents for lawyers in “BigLaw” firms by day. I was named among the “Top 37 Freelance Book Doctors in the U.S.” by Writer’s Digest Magazine a few years later, and I’ve been editing print and digital works ever since.
We provide copyediting, line editing, and proofreading of digital/web content, business, technical, legal, scientific, and medical documents as well as fiction and nonfiction manuscripts.
Some of my clients include Color Of Change, Institute of Social Policy and Understanding, Southern Poverty Law Center, The Tiny Book Project, Moon Travel Guides, and Association of Black Psychologists.
